Monster Island, The Asylum's 2019 mockbuster that was ironically released around the same time as Godzilla: King of the Monsters, is about an island called Monster Island where a monster may be located; the monster is, if you will, the island itself.


Because it is a film about an (mentioned here) asylum it has a budget equivalent to a large children's meal. This allows it to focus on a few characters and film all of its big stars' sequences in one location during lunch. However, let's not forget that this is a kaiju film, so maybe The Asylum will not do a terrible job?
